Tahoe 2026 results: won by Iloha Eychenne and Charles Teinauri

Taho’e 2026 took place in particularly challenging conditions, with intense heat and very little wind, making surf almost nonexistent. It became a true test of endurance, race management, and strategy.

In the men’s race, the battle quickly formed around a leading group featuring Brice Punuaatahitua, Charles Teinauri, Hotuiterai Poroi, and Keith Vernaudon. After a close fight throughout the course, Charles Teinauri made his move in the final kilometers to secure the win. The winner explained that he focused on managing his effort wisely and saving energy for the last lap, a strategy that proved successful in such demanding conditions.
